Description
This basic ½ day seminar conveys a general understanding of hydraulic hose nomenclature, assembly applications, constructions and component selection.
Target Audience
Geared for inside/outside sales people, sales engineers and warehouse associates who have completed the ContiTech Home Study Course and have at least three months of general hose experience.
Objectives
Through discussions, examples and exercises, attendees will be able to:
› Identify and describe industry hose standards and ContiTech hose nomenclature.
› Identify and select both hose and fittings for assembly recommendations.
› Recognize common modes of failure for hydraulic hose assemblies.
› State hose and fitting components used in both common and specialized assembly applications.
› Provide basic assembly specifications to construct a finished assembly per recommendation.
