TIP 7 | BLUE LOW TEMP FUEL OIL HOSE

Same Temperature Rating, Different Feature

Did you know that the Blue Low Temp Fuel Oil and the Redwing Fuel Oil Delivery hoses have the same minimum temperature rating at -40°F (-40°C)?  However…
When we talk in terms of minimum temperature rating: what this means is the minimum temperature that we can rate the hose to without it cracking. So, while they do have the same minimum temperature rating, that just means that neither hose will crack at -40°F (-40°C).

Feature:

The feature of the Blue Low Temp Fuel Oil Delivery hose is that it is designed specifically for more flexibility at lower temperatures.

Benefit:

The major difference between these two hoses is the ease of handling at extreme temperatures. We measure this in a couple of different ways, one being the bend radius, the second and better test is the “Force-to-Bend”, which is a truer test of flexibility/ease of handling.
